Carrie Denise (Gruis) Meggers, 32, died Sept. 15, 2008, following a long illness.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, Sept. 20, at 2 p.m. following a visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, 805 E. Main Ave., in Rockford.
She is survived by her three children, Madison, Jonathen and Mackenzie; her parents, Dennis (Becky) Gruis and Pattie Gruis; her sisters, Laurie (Merlin) Eckerson, Dee (Travis) Schweizer and Jenna (Tim) Sondag; her grandmother, Mary Lou (Art) Rethamel; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
