DES MOINES - Mable B. Comstock Seeley, 61, of Celebrity Care Center in Des Moines, a former Newton resident, died of a heart attack Friday, Sept. 15, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines.
Graveside rites will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Newton Memorial park Cemetery.
The Rev. Kevin Bauder, pastor of the Newton Immanuel Baptist Church, will conduct services.
Friends may call at Wallace-Pence Funeral Home in Newton after 3 p.m. today. Visitation with the family will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions to a fund in her name will be accepted.
Survivors are a daughter, Dorothy Turner of Des Moines; four grandchildren; a brother, William Comstock of Gallatin, Mo.; and a step-father, Clifford Brue.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Seeley, a homemaker, also had resided in Iowa City, Rockford, Ill, St. Paul, Minn., and Des Moines.
The daughter of Lloyd and ruby Brue Comstock, she was born Sept. 28, 1927 in Newton. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, September 1989.
