MONTEUMA - Johanna Septer, 77, a longtime resident of Montezuma, mother of William Septer of Newton, died Sunday, July 19, at the Pella Community hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the United Presbyterian Church in Ewart.

The Rev. Glenn Hulsebus, pastor of the church, and the Rev. Eldon Puls of Newton will conduct services. Burial will be in Jackson Township Cemetery in Montezuma.

Memorials to the Christian Opportunity Center in Pella will be accepted.

Watts Funeral Home in Montezuma is handling arrangements.

Also surviving are her husband, another son, two daughters, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, July 1992
