KILLDUFF - Marie H. Ramer Antle, 82, of Rt. 1, Sully, a longtime resident of Jasper County, died Monday evening, April 12, at the Skiff Medical Center in Newton of respiratory failure.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Wallace-Pence Funeral Home in Newton.

The Rev. John Moorlach, pastor of the Killduff United Methodist Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Sully Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Memorials to Killduff United Methodist Church will be accepted.

Survivors are her husband, Cass; a son and daughter-in-law, Delwin and Sue of Newton; and two grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Elmer and Le Roy and Emmett in infancy.

Mrs. Antle, a homemaker, was a member of the Killduff United Methodist Church, Farm Bureau and Women's Society of Christian Service, for which she had served as treasurer for many years.

The daughter of Ira and Caroline Meier Ramer, she was born March 1, 1911 near Haverhill and was graduated from Haverhill High School.

SHe was married to Cass Antle Jan. 10, 1934 in Killduff.

Mrs. Antle moved to Killduff at the age of 16. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, April 1993
