COLFAX — Ramona Joyce Miller, 61 of Colfax died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, at Skiff Medical Center Monarch Wing in Newton. Memorials may be sent to the family or given to the Ramona J. Miller Memorial Fund.

The daughter of Howard and Ruth (Rogers) Scott, Ramona was born on July 8, 1946, in Newton. Ramona was a graduate of Colfax High School. On April 9, 1965, Ramona was united in marriage with Glenn Miller at the United Methodist Church of Colfax. She spent her life as a devoted homemaker. Ramona enjoyed gambling and playing bingo. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching her grandchildren.

Those left to honor her memory are her husband, Glenn Miller of Colfax; her children, Brian (Connie) Miller of Searsboro, Joel Miller of Newton, and Holly Jones of Colfax; her sister, Amber McClain of Adair; and eight grandchildren.

Ramona was preceded in death by her parents.
