OXFORD - Thomas W. "Tom" Sherlock, 85, of 2043 E. Wilson St., Oxford, father of Jeanie (Mrs. Larry) Lust of Rt. 5, Box 76, Newton, died Tuesday, Aug. 6, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Oxford United Methodist Church.

The Rev. Harry Imlay will conduct services. Burial will be in Oxford Cemetery.

Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday at the George Gay Funeral Home in Oxford.

Memorials to the Tom Sherlock Memorial Fund will be accepted.

Also surviving are three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, two brothers, two step-grandchildren; and a step-great-granddaughter. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, August 1991
