MALCOM, IA. - Heinrich C. Steffen, 84, of Malcom died of a heart ailment Friday at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell. Burial will be in Ivy Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Steffen was born in Poweshiek County. He had been groundskeeper for Ivy Hill Cemetery and previously farmed near Malcom.

Surviving are a daughter, Ada Davis of Albion; two sisters, Elsie Graham of Prairie City and Erna Strong of Brooklyn; and two grandchildren.
