HERNDON, Va. - Patricia Singer, a former Skiff Medical Center nurse and a resident of Newton in the 1950s and 1960s, died Saturday, Nov. 30, in Herndon, Va.

Survivors are three children, Mike of Iowa City, Christine of Virginia and Peggy of Herndon, Va.

Ms. Singer had been active in civic organizations in Newton, including the PEO and TTT, and was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, November 1991
