Jeffrey A. Schnoebelen, 30, of Newton died of pneumonia Thursday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Reese Chapel in Newton. The body was been cremated.

Mr. Schnoebelen was born in Newton and had lived in Los Angeles and Germany before returning. He was a model and a member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Arnold and Joan Schnoebelen of Newton; three brothers, Donald of Newton, Steven of Battle Creek, Mich., and David of Boise, Idaho; and two sisters, Laura Rhoads and Janet Stogdil, both of Newton. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, December 1994

Jeffrey Schnoebelen

Jeffrey A. Schnoebelen, 30, of 912 S. 11th Ave. W., died Thursday evening, Dec. 15, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines of pneumonia.

Cremation followed death.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Reese Chapel. The Rev. Stanley Wieson will conduct services.

A memorial in his name will be accepted.

Survivors are three brothers, Steven of Battle Creek, Mich., David of Boise, Idaho, and Donald of Newton; two sister, Janet Stogdil and Laura Rhoads, both of Newton; and his parents, Arnold "Duke" and Joan Schnoebelen of Newton.

Mr. Schnoebelen, a model, was a member of the First United Methodist church.

The son of Arnold "Duke" and Joan Stover Schnoebelen, he was born May 7, 1964 in Newton and was a 1982 graduate of Newton Community High School.

Mr. Schnoebelen had resided in Los Angeles, Calif., for eight years and in Germany for two years. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, December 1994.
