MILAN, ILL. - Myrna Fee Samuelson, 75, of Milan, Ill., a former resident of Newton, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, at Oak Glen Home in Coal Valley, Ill.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Hodgson Funeral Home in Rock Island, Ill.

Burial will be in Newton Union Cemetery.

Survivors are four sons, Bill of Newton, Richard Taylor of Illinois, Larry of Davenport and Randy of Rock Island, Ill.; a daughter Sharon Clarke of Milan, Ill.; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Samuelson, a homemaker, was s member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Milan, the American Association of Retired Persons and the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Davenport and a volunteer in project NOW Meal Sites in Milan.

The daughter of Murray and Jeannette Parsons Fee, she was born Jan. 27, 1916 in Knoxville and was a graduate of Newton Community High School.

She was married to Phillip Samuelson in Lancaster, Mo., in 1936 and had resided in Milan since her marriage. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, February 1991
