Louise Solasberry

COLFAX - Juanita Louise Solasberry, 58, a resident of the Colfax area since 1966, died Tuesday, Oct. 18, at her home near Colfax.

Graveside rites will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Mc Keever Cemetery, north of Colfax.

The Rev. Michael Orthel, pastor of the Colfax United Methodist Church, will conduct services.

Visitation with the family will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax.

Survivors are her husband, Richard Eugene Sr.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard Jr. and Mary and David and Rachel, all of Colfax; four daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and Scott Hindman of Newton and Linda and David Abell, Donna and David Albright and Peggy, all of Colfax; and 10 grandchildren.

Also surviving are three brothers, Donald and Jim Hotopp, both of Colorado, and Harry Hotopp of Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The daughter of Herman and bertha Christensen Hotopp, she was born Sept. 23, 1936 in Aurora, Ill.

Prior to residing in the Colfax area, she lived in Mingo and Des Moines. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, October 1994
