Funeral services for Helen Grace Keylor Ludwick, 70, of Newton, a former longtime resident of Lynnville, were held today, June 10, at the Sully Garden Chapel Funeral Home.

Tom Vander Well conducted services. Burial was in Salem Cemetery in Lynnville.

Memorials to Hospice of Jasper County may be left at the funeral home.

She died Friday at the Newton Health Care Center.

Survivors are her husband, Lloyd; a son, Larry of Lynnville; three daughters, Marjorie (Mrs. Jim) Stevens of Newton, Linda (Mrs. Willis) Pierce of Colfax and Joan (Mrs. Mark) Stanley of Grinnell; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and great-grandchild; three step-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Charles Keylor of Mesa, Ariz.

Mrs. Ludwick was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Howard Keylor.

She was a member of the neighborhood LGT Club.

The daughter of Homer and Gertrude Harbor Keylor, she was born Sept. 24, 1920 in Lacey, and grew up in Lacey and was educated in Lacey schools.

She was a graduate of Lacey high school.

She was married to Lloyd W. Ludwick February 25, 1941 in Oskaloosa.

They resided in the Lynnville area until moving to Newton two years ago. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, June 1991
