Coral N. Lamberson

Coral N. Nolte Lamberson, 74, of 1127 W. 9th St. S., a resident of Newton since 1984, died Saturday, May 18, at the Skiff Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wallace-Pence Funeral Home.

The rev. Eugene Cedarholm, pastor of the First Lutheran Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Veterans Section of Newton Union Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials to the American Cancer Society will be accepted.

Survivors are a son, Mitch of New Sharon; a daughter, Kay (Mrs. Lee) Hesse of Newton; five grandchildren; two brothers, Claire Nolte of Sheffield and Rolland Nolte of Story City; and a sister, Viola Abel of Payson, Utah.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Homer, Jan. 5, 1984 and a brother, Franklin.

Mrs. Lamberson, a homemaker, had lived in Riceville prior to moving to Newton.

The daughter of Arthur E. and Helen Mae Menzie Nolte, she was born Nov. 7, 1916 in Hampton and was graduated from Hampton High School.

She was married to Homer Lamberson Aug. 14, 1938 in Iowa Falls. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, May 1991
