PARKERSBURG - Funeral services for Johannes Henry Luhring of Rt. 2, Parkersburg, brother of Mary Ann (Mrs. Darrell) Danger of Newton, were held Wednesday, June 13, at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Parkersburg.

The Rev. Gary Olson, pastor of the church, conducted services. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg.

Schwartz-Engelkes Funeral Home in Parkersburg handled arrangements.

He died Sunday of a massive heart attack while attending a Lutheran Church Conference meeting.

Also surviving are his wife, two sons, two daughters, two grandchildren, four brothers and five other sisters. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, June 1990
