Henrietta Luhring

PARKERSBURG - Henrietta Luhring, 82, of Parkersburg, a longtime resident of the Parkersburg area and the mother of Mary (Mrs. Darrell) Danger of Newton, died Monday, April 1, at the Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Pleasant Valley Reformed Church in rural Holland.

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg.

Schwartz-Engelkes Funeral Home in Parkersburg is in charge of arrangements.

Also surviving are five other daughters; four sons; 42 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren; and five sisters.

A member of the Pleasant Valley Reformed Church, Mrs. Luhring was active in senior citizen activities in Parkersburg, the Red Cross and is a former hog calling champion at the National Dairy Cattle Congress in Waterloo. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, April 1991
