ALTOONA - Private burial services for Donna L. Trotter Wylie, 60, of 1509 S. W. 3rd St., Altoona, a former resident of Newton, were held Tuesday, April 27, at the Altoona Hamilton Funeral Home.

Cremation was held. Burial was in Altoona Cemetery.

She died Friday at the Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines of cancer.

Survivors are her husband, Fred; a son, Chris, of Altoona; and two sisters, Coleen (Mrs. Bill) Newsom of Altoona and Darlene Trotter of Des Moines.

Mrs. Wylie, a homemaker, was a member of the Ivy Centennial United Methodist Church.

She was born April 22, 1933 in Milo and was a 1951 graduate of Newton Community High School.

She was married to Frederick R. Wylie April 20, 1957 at the United Methodist Church in Des Moines.

Mrs. Wylie was a longtime resident of Altoona. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, April 1993
