Louis J. Van Vark

PELLA - Louis J. Van Vark, 87, of Pella, father of Stanley Van Vark of Reasnor, died today, June 17, at his home in Pella.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the First Reformed Church in Pella.

The Rev. Dave Klanderman and the Rev. Kenneth Dykstra will conduct services. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Pella.

Friends may call at Pella Garden Chapel Funeral Home Friday and visitation with the family will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials to the First Reformed Church in Pella will be accepted.

Also surviving are his wife, a daughter-in-law, Linda Van Vark of Reasnor; three other children and their spouses; two brothers; three sisters; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, June 1993
