BLOOMFIELD - Funeral services for Mae Swindler, 97, of 902 S. Columbia St., Bloomfield, mother of Betty Lawson of Newton, were held Thursday, Sept. 2, in Priester Funeral Chapel in Bloomfield. Burial was in Savannah Cemetery.

She died recently at her home.

Also surviving are four sons; another daughter; 17 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren; and 10 step-great-grandchildren. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, August 1993
