WINONA LAKE, Ind. - The Rev. Frank Hazen Sparks, 87, of Winona Lake, Ind., a former resident of Jasper County, died Saturday noon, Nov. 13, at Winona Lake.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday in Winona Lake.

Survivors are his wife, Beatrice; two sons, Bob and Paul; two daughters, Patricia and Ruth; a number of grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a number of sisters and brothers.

The son of Frank and Jennie Gove Sparks, he was born Feb. 24, 1906 in Lynnville. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, November 1993
