WASHINGTON - Funeral services for Doris W. Sojka, 65, of 94 W. Monroe St., Washington, mother o Sheryl A. Reynolds and Barbara J. Welle, both of Newton, were held Tuesday, April 27, at the First Christian Church in Washington.

The Rev. Richard Boyd conducted services. Burial was in Elm Grove Cemetery.

Memorials in her name will be accepted.

Johnes Funeral Home in Washington handled arrangements.

Also surviving are five other children, 17 grandchildren, a great-grandchild, five brothers and five sisters. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, April 1993
