PRESCOTT, Ariz. - Elizabeth Stouder Robertson, 84, of Prescott, Ariz., a native and former resident of Newton, died Monday, July 8, at a Prescott hospital.

Memorial services will be held Friday in Prescott following cremation.

She is survived by a daughter, Patricia (Mrs. Jack) Hope of Prescott; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Howard Stouder of Newton and Max Stouder of Santa Clara, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Max Stouder, who operated Stouder Drug Store in Newton for many years; her husband, George; and a sister, Frances Stouder Mathwig in 1989.

The daughter of Max and Fannie Howard Stouder, she was born Feb. 9, 1907 in Newton and was a 1924 graduate of Newton Community High School.

After her marriage to George Robertson in Newton, she and her husband resided in Lodi, Wis.

She moved to Arizona after the death of her husband.

She was employed at the Maytag co. after graduating from high school. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, July 1991
