WEST DES MOINES - Funeral services for Regina Sanger Rizzuti, 58, of West Des moines, a former Prairie City resident, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 7, at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home at Prairie City.

The Rev. Marshall Myers, pastor of the Prairie City Christian Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in Waveland Cemetery in Prairie City.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rizzuti died Saturday, March 3, at her home.

Survivors are her mother, Ila Sparks of Prairie City, and a step-sister, Jackie Walker of Denver, Colo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis, in 1985 and her father.

Mrs. Rizzuti worked as a secretary in Chicago, Ill., and Des Moines.

The daughter of Herbert and Ila Winegar Sanger, she was born Jan. 6, 1932 in Prairie City and was a 1950 graduate of Prairie City Community High School.

Mrs. Rizzuti resided in the Chicago, Ill., area until 1985 when she moved to West Des moines. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, March 1990
