Peggy Lane Bryant Robeson, 51, 811 E. 12th St. Pl. N., a resident of Newton since 1965, died Monday, Jan. 7, at Iowa methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church.

The Rev. Jerry Brown, senior pastor of the church, will conduct services.

Burial wil be in Newton Union Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Wallace-Pence Funeral Home after 8 a.m. Wednesday. Visitation with the family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials in her name may be left at the funeral home.

Survivors are her husband, Frank A.; a son, Richard L. of Omaha, Neb.; three daughters, Susan Springer, Julie (Mrs. Tim) Moon and and Amy L. Robeson, all of Newton; and five grandchildren.

Also surviving are three brothers, Wayne C. Bryant of Panama, Charles H. Bryant of Newton, and Ron L. Bryant of Cherokee, and a sister, Judy (Mrs. Dennis) Rudisill of Cherokee.

She was preceded in deathy by her parents.

Mrs. Robeson was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Robeson was employed at Spurgeons until 1989.

The daughter of Arlie E. and Syvilla P. Steuermann Bryant, she was born April 28, 1939 in Cherokee.

She was a 1958 graduate of Cherokee High School.

She was married to Frank A. Robeson Feb. 28, 1958 in Jackson, Minn. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, January 1991
