BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — Peggi C. (Wilson) Dehner, 56, of 3211 Stonebridge Court, Bloomington, Ill., died at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at her home.

Her memorial service was Saturday, June 23 at the Carmody-Flynn Williamsburg Funeral Home in Bloomington, Ill., with the Rev. Priscilla Bell officiating. Interment was private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or BroMenn Hospice.

Peggi was born Oct. 25, 1950, in Des Moines. The daughter of Everett and Margaret (Carroll) Wilson, Jr. She married Mark Dehner on May 17, 1975, in Colfax. He survives.

She is also survived by her daughter, Allison Dehner of Pittsburgh, Pa.; four brothers, Robert (Linda) Wilson of Minneapolis, Minn.; Dr. John Wilson of Dallas, Texas; and Charles Wilson and Tom (Terry) Wilson, both of Colfax; her mother-in-law, Mary Ann Dehner of LaPlata, Mo.; an aunt, Leona Barackman of Des Moines; a dear family friend, Kenneth Pierce of Colfax; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law, James L. Dehner.

Peggi graduated from Colfax High School in 1968, received her associate degree from Ellsworth Community College in 1971, and her bachelor degree in liberal arts and education from Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo., in 1973. She worked as a teacher, a marketing assistant and a homemaker.

Peggi was a member of the Middle Creek Presbyterian Church in Byron. She enjoyed her friends, family and planting flowers.
