WOODBURN - Lucretia Deloras "Lol" Lamb Trout, 84 of Woodburn, a former resident of Newton, died Monday afternoon, March 19, at Clarke County Hospital in Osceola.

Graveside rites will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Newton Memorial Park Cemetery.

Kale Funeral Home in Osceola is handling arrangements.

Survivors are two sons, Jasper Jr. of Woodburn and Robert "R.G." of Carthage, Mo.; a daughter, Nadine (Mrs. Ken) Bobbitt of La Puente, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, John Lamb of Newton and Forest "Bud" Lamb of Greenfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jasper, a son, Kenneth, three brothers, Gerald, Everett and Bushnell, and three sisters. Roxie Keener, Eleanora Altemeier and Violet Lamb.

The daughter of Price and Nettie Lamb, she was born May 24, 1905. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, March 1990
