LeRoy F. Todd, 58, of 406 E. 14th St. N., a resident of Newton since 1981, was dead on arrival at Skiff Medical Center Friday evening, Nov. 9, following a heart attack.

Cremation followed death. There will be no services.

Reese Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Survivors are his wife, Myrtle; a daughter, Karen (Mrs. Larry) Moore of Collinsville, Ill.; two grandchildren; a brother, Derald Todd of Harrison, Ark.; a sister, Georgia Knott of Gila Bend, Ariz.; and his mother, Ruth Todd of Bloomfield.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Mr. Todd, a former employee of Cargil Co., in Des Moines, retired in 1983 because of health reasons.

The son of Marvin and Ruth Todd, he was born May 31, 1932 in Woodbury County and was graduated from Bloomfield Community High School.

He was married to Myrtle Clayton Feb. 26, 1981. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, November 1990
