PRAIRIE CITY - Funeral services for 3-month-old Kyle Anthony Timmons, son of Dean and Molly Buehrer Timmons of Prairie City, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, at the Church of the Brethren south of Prairie City.

The Rev. Tim Peter, pastor of the church, assisted by the Rev. Doug Raymond, pastor of the Rising Sun Church of Christ, will conduct services.

Burial will be in Waveland Cemetery in Prairie City.

Memorials may be left at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City.

Friends may call at the church an hour before services.

The child died Tuesday of sudden infant death syndrome in the emergency room at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Survivors, besides his parents, are his grandparents, Dave and Vickie Buehrer of Colfax and Harold and Virginia Timmons of Prairie City; and great-grandmothers, Katherine Hardie of Colfax, Myrtle Timmons of Prairie City and Ruth Mullins of Lake City.
