SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Graveside rites for Adrian Northcutt, 77, of San Diego, Calif., a former resident of Newton, were held Thursday, July 1, in San Diego.

Survivors are a son, Michael, of San Diego; a granddaughter; a grandson; a sister, Martha Ferguson of Newton; three brothers, Orrin of Rock Island, Ill; Jay of Olympia, Wash.; and Walter of Burlington; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, LaVonda Marion, and a son, Walter George, in infancy. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, July 1993
