NOLIN, CAMPBELL, KRUTSINGER, LONEY, MC CORMICK

Verna L. Nolin

Verna Lee Krutsinger Nolin, 58, of 1003 S. 5th Ave. E., a resident of Newton since 1953, died this morning, Oct. 3, at Skiff Medical Center of cancer.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Luke United Methodist Church.

The Rev. Paul Wilcox, pastor of the church, will conduct services. Burial will be in Newton Union Cemetery.

Friends may call at Wallace-Pence Funeral Home after noon Friday. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials to Hospice of Jasper County may be left at the funeral home.

Survivors are her husband, Delmar; two sons, Steven D. and Craig E., both of Newton; a daughter, Karen (Mrs. Jeff) Campbell of Mingo; four brothers, Gerald, Roger, Richard and Stanley Krutsinger, all of Chariton, and a sister, Sharon (Mrs. Fred) Loney of Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson.

Mrs. Nolin was a retired secretary of St. Luke United Methodist Church.

The daughter of Leo and Beaula Mc Cormick Krustinger, she was born May 16, 1933 in Chariton and was graduated from Chariton Community High School.

She was married to Delmar Nolin Sept. 21, 1956 in Newton. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, October 1991
