Funeral services for Paul D. Newton Sr., 74, of Los Angeles, Calif., formerly of Newton, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, at the Greater Memorial Baptist Church in a Los Angeles.

Memorials to a fund in his name may be left at the Reese Funeral Home in Newton.

He died recently at Los Angeles, Calif.

Survivors are two daughters, Jan (Mrs. Earl) Albertson III of Newton, and Henrietta Breeden of Tulsa, Okla.; two sons, Paul David Jr. of Los Angeles, Calif. and Bryon of South Carolina; and a number of grandchildren. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, October 1993
