Graveside rites for Blanche Lenora Pulver, 100, Embassy Maor Care Center, formery of Altoona, were held today, April 2, at the Keota Cemetery in Keota.

She died Saturday morning at the manor of heart failure.

Survivors include a number of nieces and nephew, including Virginia Watson of Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harry, May 31, 1957, and seven brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Pulver had been employed at Bell Telephone Co. in Des Moines prior to her marriage.

She was born Nov. 17, 1889 in Lorimor and attended Lorimor schools.

She was married to Harry Pulver Jan. 25, 1921. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, April 1990
