Zenas F. Stevens Dies Saturday; Services Tuesday

Zenas Floyd Stevens, 67, of Embassy Manor died Saturday at the Manor.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Johnson-Reese Chapel in Newton.

The Rev. James Conger, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Newton Union Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Johnson-Reese Chapel until time of services.

Memorial contributions to the First Baptist Church will be accepted.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Wayne Biehl of Monroe and Mrs. James Van Hoosen of Jerseyville, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Hulda Neller of California.

He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Mary E. Irwin, Feb. 1, 1967; parents; three brothers; and a sister.

Mr. Stevens, an assembly foreman at the Maytag Co., was a member of the First Baptist Church and Maytag 25-year Club.
