WORTHINGTON, Ohio - Mary Bickell Jarnagin, 59, of Worthington, Ohio, a native and former resident of Newton, died Wednesday morning, Feb. 14, at her home in Worthington, Ohio, after suffering a heart attack.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Mc Laren Rest Haven Chapel in West Des Moines.

Visitation with the family will be held from noon until time of services.

Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Survivors are her husband, Chuck; two sons, Brad of Chicago, Ill., and Greg of Des Moines; a Daughter, Amy C. Jarnagin of Chicago, Ill,; and a sister, Barbara (Mrs. Ken) Hays of Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Jarnagin, who resided in Iowa until 1984, with a member of the Plymouth Congregational Church in Des Moines.

The daughter of Roy and Grace Ripple Bickell, she was born February 26, 1930 in Newton and was a graduate of Newton Community High School. ~ Tne Newton (IA) Daily News, February 1990
