Georganna M. Lewison Redtfeldt, 80, of 315 1st St., S., Apt. 404, a Newton resident since 1982, died Monday, January 17, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Pursel-Davis Funeral Home in Marshalltown.
Father Frederick Kramer, Skiff Medical Center chaplain, will conduct services. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Marshalltown.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. Friday until time of services.
Memorials to hospice of Jasper County will be accepted.
The survivors are a sister, Dorris Snook of Newton; and two brothers, Marvin Robert Lewison of Verdi, Nev.; and Richard Lewison of Gainesville, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
The daughter of the Lewis M. and Nellie Burt Lewison, she was born February 24, 1913 in Grimes and was graduated in 1929 from Mc Cook High School in Mc Cook, Neb.
She was married to Virgil E. Redtfeldt April 13, 1932 in Oberlin, Kan.
Mrs. Redtfeldt farmed in the Green Mountain community for 32 years prior to moving to Marshalltown and later to Newton. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, January 1994
