BAXTER, IA. - W. M. "Mary" Totman, 96, of Baxter died of cancer here Saturday. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Central Christian Church of Marshalltown, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery there.

Mrs. Totman was born in Patterson and had lived in Winterset most of her life, moving to Baxter two years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include two sons, William McClurg of Venice, Fla., and B. Miles McClurg of Marshalltown; three grandchildren; and a great grandchild.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. until service time today at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Pursel-Davis Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Memorial contributions may be made to her church. ~ Newton (IA) Daily News, September 1991
