COLFAX - June Jordan Normandin, 71, of Colfax died Thursday, Nov. 9, at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Howard Street Christian Church in Colfax.
The Rev. William Gardner, pastor of the church, will conduct services and burial will be in Mc Keever Cemetery north Colfax.
Friends may call at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax today and visitation with the family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials to the Howard Street Christian Church in Colfax will be accepted.
Survivors are her husband, Vern; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Alan and Pam of Colfax and Tim of Des Moines; two grandchildren; two sisters, Evamae Bishop and Marjorie Wessel, both of Newton; and two brothers, Robert Jordan of White Bear Lake, Minn. and Don Jordan of Lakewood, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-mother, Ruth Jordan.
Mrs. Normandin, a member of the Howard Street Christian Church in Colfax, was a retired secretary for the Iowa Transportation and Health Department.
The daughter of Eton (typed as written, obits differ) and Maude Bailey Jordan, she was born March 23, 1922 in Newton and was the 1940 graduated Newton Community High School.

The soloist was Walter Williams, and the organist with Eleanor Howell.
Casket bearers were Ramon Faidley, Royal Cross, Dick Williams, Carl Long, William Pion and Jean Ray.
