COLFAX - Funeral services for Linda Diane Nikolish, 38, of Johnston, a former longtime resident of Colfax, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 28, at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax.

The Rev. Micael Orthel, pastor of the Colfax United Methodist Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in Colfax Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after noon today and visitation with the family will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials to Mercy Hospice in Des Moines will be accepted.

Miss Nikolish died Sunday at her home in Johnston.

Survivors are her mother, June Nikolish of Colfax; and a brother, Gary Nikolish of Ellicott City, Md.

She was an employee a Pioneer International in Des Moines and had resided in Johnston for the past year.

The daughter of Rudolph and June Thomas Nickolish, she was born October 4, 1955 in Des Moines.

A 1972 graduate of Colfax Community High School, she was also a graduate of Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny and Iowa State University in Ames.
