COLFAX - Funeral services for Beverly Robbins Shissler, 67, a former president and 23-year-member of the Colfax Library Board, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 15, at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax.

The Rev. Mike Orthel, pastor of the Colfax United Methodist Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in Colfax Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials to the Colfax United Methodist Church will be accepted.

Mrs. Shissler died Wednesday at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.

Survivors are her husband, Iden; and a daughter, Patricia Shissler of Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Shissler was a member of the Colfax United Methodist Church, the PEO chapter BA and the Order of the Eastern Star.

The daughter of Bert and Esther Lundeen Robbins, was born October 8, 1926 in Des Moines, was a 1944 graduate of Colfax Community High School and attended Drake University in Des Moines.
