Walter Kooistra

HOUSTON, Texas - Walter Kooistra, 88, of Houston, Texas, formerly of the Kellogg community, died Saturday, Oct. 6, at the home of his son, Winton, in Houston.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Prugh Funeral Home in Burlington.

Also surviving is a sister, Thelma (Mrs. Clarence) Hotger of Newton.

Mr. Kooistra, a retired employee of the CB and Q Railroad of Burlington, had been a longtime resident of Burlington.
