COLFAX - Ruth A. Rogers Scott, 77, of Colfax, died of heart disease at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Graveside rites will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Winterset Cemetery.

Collins Funeral Home in Winterset is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are her husband, Howard; two daughters, Amber McClaine of Adair and Ramona Miller of Colfax; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Hazel Smith of Winterset and Helen Pattee of Portland, Ore.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert R. and Jennie Myrtle Moore Rogers.

She was married to a Howard H. Scott September 28, 1945 in Winterset. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, January 1991
