MAXWELL - Funeral services for Grace M. Long, 90, of Rt. 2, Maxwell, a former resident of Greencastle, were held Wednesday, July 17, at the Farrar United Methodist Church.

Burial was in Farrar Cemetery.

Memorials to the Farrar United Methodist Church will be accepted.

Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell is handling arrangements.

She died Sunday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines.

Survivors are her husband Clarence, of Mitchellville; a son, Harold of Farrar; a daughter Doris Jean MC Ginnis of Farrar; eight grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are three sisters, Bernadene Tinnemeier of Newton, Eva Morrison of Collins and Fern Richeson of Rhodes; and four brothers, Paul Rumbaugh and Reid Rumbaugh, both of Mingo, George Rumbaugh of baxter and Harold Rumbaugh of Collins.

Mrs. Long a homemaker was a member of the United Methodist Women.

Mrs. Long had resided her entire life in the Farrar and Mingo areas. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, July 1991
