Kyle V. E. Lyons

Kyle V. Edward Lyons, 3, of 218 W. 9th St. S., a resident of Newton since 1989, was pronounced dead at Skiff Medical Center Monday evening, December 31, [1990] after an accidental drowning at Newton Inn.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Church of the Nazarene.

The Rev. Bill Van Patten, pastor of the church, will conduct services. Burial will be in Newton Union Cemetery.

Friends may call after 8 a.m. Thursday at Wallace-Pence Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be held at 218 W. 9th St. S. or by telephoning 792-5866.

Memorials in his name may be left at the funeral home.

Survivors are his parents, Rodney Lyons and Belinda Bingham, both of Newton, a sister, Erica Lynn Lyons of Newton; his paternal grandmother, Beverly Lyons of Altoona; his maternal grandmother, Inez Armstrong of Newton; his maternal great-grandparents, Ralph and Vera Leist of Boone; and a number of aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Edward Lyons, maternal grandfather, Vear Bingham, and step-grandfather Kenneth Armstrong.

The child attended the Church Of the Nazarene.

The child was born February 8, 1987 in Omaha, Nebraska, and attended the Bear Class at Apple Tree Children's Center.
