Louis Edwin Jolly, 70, of Haines City, Fla., a former resident of Colfax, and died Saturday morning at Haines City.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Westover Funeral Home in Des Moines. Burial will be Des Moines. Graveside rites will be conducted by the Masonic Lodge.

Survivors are his wife, Inez R.; a sister, Annabel Acton of Sioux City; a brother, Eugene Jr. of Newton; a son, James of Des Moines; a daughter, Mrs. Norman McCrea of rural Monroe; and five grandchildren.

The son of Eugene A. and Ethel Jolly, he was born in Oskaloosa and was graduated from Colfax Community Schools.

Mr. Jolly also resided in Stuart for 10 years and in Des Moines for 30 years, moving to Florida in August, 1977. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, April 1978
