Mrs. Emil Dorothy L. Jones, 57, at 607 E. 3rd Ave East, a longtime resident of Newton, died Sunday afternoon at the Skiff Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson-Reese Chapel.

The Rev. Ian R. Hoover, pastor of the Community Heights Alliance Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Newton Union Cemetery.

Memorial contributions to the Cancer Fund or the Jasper County Senior Citizens will be accepted. Memorials may be left at the funeral home.

Survivors are her husband; Mrs. Ronald (Judi) Hotger of rural Laurel; three granddaughters; and her mother, Mrs. Fred (IDA) Kohloff of Newton.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Mrs. Jones was a member of the Christian Church, Eastern Star, White Shrine and Rural Mail Carriers, Auxiliary.

The daughter of Fred and Ida Bougher Kohloff, she was born February 14, 1921 at Lovilia and attended Newton schools. ~ The Newton (IA)
