PRAIRIE CITY - Glenn Neideigh, a longtime resident of the Prairie City and Runnels community, died today, August 2, at Des Moines General Hospital.
Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City is handling arrangements which have not been completed.

Glenn E. NeideighPRAIRIE CITY - Funeral services for Glenn Eldon, Neideigh, 74, of Runnells, a longtime resident of the Prairie city and Runnels area, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 4, at the Church of the Brethren South of Prairie City.
The Rev. Timothy Peter, pastor of the church, will conduct services. Burial will be in Waveland Cemetery in Prairie City.
Friends may call after noon today at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City. Visitation with the family will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials to the Clearview Manor Guild in Prairie City will be accepted.
Mr. Neideigh died Monday at Des Moines General Hospital.
Survivors are his wife, Velma; two sons and daughters-in-law, Benjamin and Donna of Greenfield and Glenn D. and Lila of Runnells; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ellen and Bill Cole; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Mr Neideigh was a member of the Church of the Brethren
The son of Frank and Hattie Coffman Neideigh, he was born August 21, 1918 in Redfield.
He was married to Velma Thomas, September 20, 1939 at Bethany Mo.
Mr. Neideigh farmed in the Marshall County area until 1948 when he moved to the Prairie City-Runnells area where he farmed until his retirement. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, August 1993
