RIALTO, Calif. - Graveside rites for Nellie L. Roberts Nalevanko, 83, as Crestview Convalescent Home in Rialto, Calif., a former longtime resident of Newton, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 13, at Newton Memorial Park Cemetery.

The Rev. Jerry Brown, senior pastor of the Newton First United Methodist Church, will conduct services.

Friends may call from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Wallace-Pence Funeral Home in Newton.

She died Friday in California.

Survivors are two sons, Donald Graham of San Bernardino, Calif., and Jack Graham of Littleton, Calif.; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Michael, Aug. 3, 1968, and five brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Nalevanko had been employed in the receiving department at the Maytag Co. until retiring in 1969.

The daughter of William and Elizabeth Cubit Roberts, she was born March 22, 1907.

She was married to Michael Nalevanko April 18, 1956 in Cameron, Mo.

Mrs. Nalevanko had resided in Oregon prior to moving to California three years ago. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, December 1990
