Harrison Craig Ross, son of Elizur and Eliza Ann Ross was born in Van Buren County, Iowa July 19, 1859 and died at his home near Monroe April 23, 1926 at the age of 66 years, 9 months and 26 days. He was united in marriage to Minnie Livingston at Newton, Iowa November l4, 1882. Six children - three of whom have preceded him in death, Howard J., Verl and Donnald L.

Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Ves Johns of Monroe, Mrs. Marion Van Zante of Monroe and one son Carrol at home and two grandchildren, one brother, Charles F. Ross of Reasnor, Iowa.

Buried in Hewitt Cemetery.
