Fred Daly was in Dublin, Ireland August 24, 1873 and died December 25, 1926. In 1987 he came to Prairie City. On March 1, 1899 he married Lola E. Sullivan, who preceded him in death January 21, 1925. Five children – Ralph C., June Nita, who died in infancy, Elsie Effie, Ernest Fred and George Craig.

On September 4, 1926 he was married to Florene Stanley.
