Anna Brewin, daughter of John and Alice Brewin was born in Leicestershire, England November 1, 1840 and died at Colfax September 25, 1925.

Came to America with parents in 1849.

She married William H. Daft January 1865 at Fulton Co., Illinois. In February, 1886, they came to Jasper Co., Iowa near Zachary’s Switch. They moved to Colfax in 1907.

Mr. Daft died December 22, 1910. Six children, three living - Mrs. Luch Remsburg, Miss Josie Daft of Colfax, Mrs. Clara Robinson died in 1905, Mrs. Stella Rose in 1912 and Jessie in 1883. Clinton C. lives on the farm.

One brother and two sisters - Charles Brewin of Fort Scott, Kansas, Mrs. Mary Booth of Runnells and Mrs. Martha Booth of Prairie City.

Burial in Waveland Cemetery.
