Henry Schlosser Dies Suddenly

John Henry Schlosser passed away at the home of his daughter, Ms. Hays at Heddrick, Iowa, about 2:00 o’clock Friday morning, Dec. 26, with a cerebral hemorrhage.

Mr. Schlosser whose home is in Keerrobert, Sask, Canada, has been in failing health for some time and he and his wife came to Rochester, Minn., some time ago, where the physicians gave him little hope of ever being well. He visited relatives in and around Colfax several weeks lately.

He was 63 years of age and is a brother of Ed and Lou Schlosser of Colfax. He had been hunting on Christmas Day and seemed in unusually good spirits. His death came unexpectedly to his nearest relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Christian Church Thursday afternoon, Jan. 1st with Rev. V. H. Rogers officiating. Interment will be had in the Mitchellville Cemetery, Obituary next week. ~ The Colfax (IA) Tribune, Dec 1924.
